Dr. John B. Gordon III joined Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. in the Spring of 1998. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Brother Gordon has been active in both Richmond (VA) and Fredericksburg (VA) Alumni Chapters. Brother Gordon fostered the Guide Right Program for both chapters, and is excited to join the Portsmouth-Suffolk chapter as the Superintendent of Suffolk Public Schools. Dr. Gordon has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia, a Master of Education from the University of Virginia, a Post-Master's in Administration and Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from Virginia Tech.
